Operational for more than 30 years, Ferd & Gladys Alpert Jewish Family & Children's Service is a nonprofit, social service agency. It is a beneficiary of the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County. The agency serves the Jewish community in Palm Beach County in Florida. Ferd & Gladys Alpert Jewish Family & Children's Service offers a variety of counseling and geriatric care management solutions. It also provides residential services for senior citizens with physical disabilities. The agency offers individual, group and family therapies for children. Ferd & Gladys Alpert Jewish Family & Children's Service additionally serves the victims of domestic abuse. Its guardianship program supports individuals with developmental disabilities, mental illnesses and dementia-related disorders. The agency receives funding from the Children's Services Council of Palm Beach County and the United Way of Palm Beach County, as well as from private donations and grants.
