Inspire Recovery

Inspire Recovery has created a program that serves the members in my LGBTQIA+ community. The staff at the facility understand the community and how traditional gender specific facilities are not able to provide the affirmative space that our community deserves. Individuals who struggle with substance use and untreated mental health deserves a place that will allow them to flourish and have a voice.

Inspire Recovery has changed my life in ways I never thought possible. I had been to drug and alcohol treatment many times prior and never felt that I truly be myself. As a member of the LGBTQ community I was always surrounded by straight, Cis people and there was a certain comfort ability missing. At Inspire Recovery I was able to open up and be honest with myself and others for the first time in my life. That experience allowed me to look at my addiction to drugs and alcohol as well as my depression in a new light. I'm finally able to accept who I am and where I am today in my recovery. Inspire had small individualized group therapy which made me more willing to share on a personal level and delve into the issues I needed to discuss. I wasn't just a number at Inspire Recovery I was someone who mattered. Thank you so much for allowing me to discover myself gain!
