Subsequently, he completed a fellowship in rheumatology at the University of Florida in 2003. Dr. Barron trained under experts of connective tissue diseases (rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus, and Sjogren’s syndrome) including Dr. Westley Reeves and Dr. Eric Sobel.
