Unbelievable how almost everything we had Kim's floor do at our house ended up with issues and incorrect installations. Floors weren't laid properly and started to buckle. A representative from Shaw came out to attempt to warranty it through the manufacture. His report said the moisture readings where fine and that the installation didn't leave the floors room to expand causing it to buckle. Suppose to have warranty on products and labor but that's a joke. No help there Kim's says it's not their installation even after two other flooring professionals agree with the manufacture. Shower that we paid thousands of dollars to have them tile leaked so bad that the water ran outside the house!! Had to have a whole wall treated and repaired at my expense. Kim's came out said sorry it wasn't sealed or caulked (finished) and they finished it for me. No reimbursement about the water damage. Tile floors that they laid in the bathroom have low spots where the tile dropped. Said they could fix that but that didn't happen either. Now we are told that the whole shower must be busted out and redone because despite Kim's coming out to finish it two years later it still leaks. Now I have to fix two walls where the water damaged them. Years of the runaround and we paid premium money for premium products and installation (close to $30,000) for what headaches and misery. Had to have the whole floors redone costing an additional $20,000 and now the shower will be yet another expense I get to pay to do twice in less than a five year span. I would avoid this company unless you enjoy lighting tens of thousands of dollars on fire, because that's what I feel like I did by trusting Kim's.

I do not recommend. We used Diane to re finish our hard wood floors. I guess she thought that because we were young she could pull the wool over our eyes. The floors were terrible when they were done. Huge bubbles that made the floor so rough that it would tear your socks. Also we thought it was just taking a really long time to dry but truth was there were huge spots that look super glossy, like you spilled water, and other spots that are matte a desert. We wanted a semi glass FYI.
We called her and she said she couldn't take care of it till next week. I told her we couldn't wait because we were moving in and have all our stuff in our kitchen because we have no place to go. We paid really good money for this. She came out and "fixed" it. But now you can still see the "start" marks from the buffer, there are still "wet" looking super glossy spots, and still a lot of rough bubbles.

Terrible. Quick service & overtime, we know why. We had 3 rooms redone with vinyl & we were lied to. Our living room floor is uneven throughout. The holes from carpet tacks in the concrete weren't filled in before putting down flooring & in some cases, there was debris left behind under the floor. When I FINALLY had someone come back to look at it, I got excuses & the man who actually laid the floor was seriously going to take a box cutter to the center of the vinyl sheet in my bedroom to see what was under the flooring; was it a nail or otherwise. I asked him to stop before he did & later he told me had been laying floor for 40 years. A novice would know better than to slice into a vinyl sheet in the center. I'm so disgusted with the whole experience. No money back on the poor job done. I got excuses & retort when I brought it to their attention and I never got a straight, honey answer about anything. I have wasted money, time & breath. Had I know what I was going into, I would have laid the floor myself. Then it night actually look decent. Please...avoid this place or accept the risk your taking. I was told great things about it & was sorely disappointed. There are 3 more rooms to finish & I'm honestly so burnt on flooring nightmares from this joke of a business that I would rather keep looking at worn out, yellow lenoleum.
