Overall
This is not the nearest shelte...

This is not the nearest shelter to my home , But when picking a pet you are adding a new family member to your home. I find the employess/ Volunteers are very nice and no matter what shift they know about each animal and if they dont they will find out and answer all your concerns & questions. Some Shelters have made it very difficult to adopt I understand it is for the animals protection even taking that into consideration they still turn many away with all they ask of you . Most times you can not go home with your pet that day and with the limited shelter hours people want to go home with the pet.. 20yrs ago I adopted 2 cats I went for 1 But found 2 special 4 yr olds. We had them for 12yrs , Great cats. Recently adopted 2 cats they are great we love them. While at the shelter I saw a man unable to have cats but he loved cats so much he was fostering a cat The cat stays at shelter & he donates what he can , but most of all he can visit and cuddle with his cat whenever he likes. I found this to be a great program for those that can not have a cat..:)
