Lead body aprons and shields are used to protect your child, and our digital X-ray equipment requires only a fraction of the radiation energy of that used with traditional films. With these contemporary safeguards, the amount of radiation received in a dental X-ray is extremely small and far exceeds the risk of undetected dental disease if images are omitted.
