CoExist Counseling utilizes the benefits of the world-wide-web to facilitate individual counseling sessions and live support groups via video conferencing technology. Individual counseling support is also offered by phone, text, and email. This allows those who struggle in social settings to transition more comfortably than attending a local support group and provides more convenient access to those with barriers related to time, transportation, and/or childcare. At CoExist, clients are respected as free and capable individuals. Provided that you are not aggressing against others, you will be expected to make life changes only when you feel change is needed. Your CoExist Counselor will provide you with assistance in identifying underlying causes of the problems you identify as well as with recommendations, feedback and ongoing support as you pursue goals of your choosing. A CoExist Counselor will never judge, shame or belittle you and will provide you with caring support while also modeling the boundaries and dynamics of a healthy relationship. Holisic health is an important aspect of treatment at CoExist Counseling. Becoming well happens on levels that are physical, mental and spiritual and all aspects of wellness can be explored in counseling sessions. CoExist Counselors are knowlegable in the areas of herbal, energy, and alternative medicines as well as in nutritional health, yoga and other body practices. Counselors understand the sensitive ethics around spiritual counseling and have explored many world belief systems. You will be provided with respectful guidance and support in your personal spiritual growth, regardless of specific beliefs.
