The Bean is a WeHo classic, although they may have lost a step since expanding out to Pasadena, Burbank, SM and Redondo. It is always loud, always crowded and always packed with beautiful people.

Overall

like a frat house

Barney's is an okay place to watch some sports...it reminds me of a frat house; it smells like beer. The atmosphere is lively and they have a good selection of beers. The menu is huge - nothing especially to write home about. I tried the chili last night and it was alright. Best bet is to stick with the apps - like potato skins, onion rings and wings.

Loud, busy, and fun

This is a fun place to grab a drink with friends. They have a large selection of drinks and food. They have pool tables as well. The place is always really busy and really loud, but a great place to hang out and meet new people.

Barney’s Beanery is a full-service bar/restaurant with a history in LA going back almost 100 years. We’ve grown over the years, from a small chili-cafe in West Hollywood to a multi-unit staple of the Los Angeles restaurant scene.
