Northeastern Chimney Sweeps

I hired Northeastern Chimney to repair my chimney. The crown was the key element of the repair. Seven years and 5 months later, I found water was coming into my fireplace. Long story short, the crown was poorly built and had separated from the brick structure. This created a gap that allowed water to infiltrate the chimney. A well-built crown should last 15 to 25 years or more. Northeastern refused to acknowledge that their crown failed to meet industry standards and refused to refund the $1,100 I paid. They are unprofessional and untrustworthy. Note: At the time the job was done Northeastern's technicians gave me a card that said a discount was applied to my invoice and "in return we would greatly appreciate a positive review . . ." I foolishly gave them a good review. It's impossible for me to get up on my roof so it took time to realize how poorly the job was done. Several masons have examined my chimney crown and noted it was not done correctly.

Excellent service, thorough and punctual (actually, they called ahead to ask if they could arrive earlier, which was a bonus). The Northeastern team cleaned our chimney and inspected the furnace, and talked me through their report step by step with the help of photos they took while inside the works and atop the house. Very satisfied, we will definitely hire them for all routine maintenance and any needed future repairs. Thank you, Mike and Tommy!

Steve and Kyle arrived within the timeframe specified and were in and out in an hour. Got a reasonable estimate for rebuilding the outside portion of the chimney. I'm very happy with Northeastern Chimney Sweeps.

Fast Service!! Had an issue with the liner and contacted Northeastern Chimney to have it fixed and Steve & Kyle came that morning and were able to come two days after to fix it. Steve was very helpful and provided the best/safest plan for us.

Steve and Kyle came to look at my completely out-of-shape (inside and out) chimneys. They were friendly and knowledgeable and I am having Northeastern Chimney do the work. Reasonable price (with some free work thrown in). Definitely keeping their card on my fridge for the future.

Steve and Andy installed a new Regency wood stove and new chimney stack in our family room. The stack is over 16ft. high. They did an awesome job! First, they had to remove the old wood stove and stack. They had covered up the rug and were very careful removing the stove and pipes. Both Andy and Steve were courteous and personable the entire time. They worked very well together and you could tell they enjoy what they do. We met Steve a few weeks ago when he came to check our chimney stack after a fire. He is very knowledgable and helped us choose our new stove.
