Cornerstone Aquatics Center

Unfortunately we had a bad experience at Cornerstone Aquatic Center. We were members for 10 months. We forgot an item at the gym and called to ask if anyone had found the item. The staff member Carol was terribly rude on the phone. She refused to look for the item and made it blatantly clear she was annoyed that we were requesting someone to look for us. After the item was not found in one area Carol refused to have anyone look anywhere else and told us we would have to come back to the gym ourselves to look. She then hung up the phone. When we called back to speak with a manager she continued to be incredibly rude and unhelpful . We took the matter to management and Dave unfortunately did not handle the situation well. We requested that the remaining 2 months of our membership be cancelled after this unfortunate experience. We did not want to continue coming to a facility where we were treated so rudely. Not only did he refuse to cancel the membership but he never once apologized or acknowledge the bad experience. He stated that Carol was not rude based on her statements alone. He accused us of causing the problem when all we were requesting is that someone look for our lost item. We will not be returning to Cornerstone Aquatic Center and are very disappointed in the staff. It is sad that West Hartford has to be represented by such rude people.
