Overall

I’ve been a patron of this establishment for the past 24 years. Amazing food and u get SOOOO MUCH! I always leave with a “take home” container. I recommend the scallops (the sauce is YUUUUUUMMMYY!) and the shrimp! #highly recommended#good food#kid friendly#good ambiance#friendly staff#must try

Not Worth The Price

If you like Japanese steak houses don't go to O'hanna. They don't serve the yum yum sauce I've grown to enjoy, they don't put on as good of a show, and they don't do the flaming onion/volcano. I haven't tried any other place in Des Moines but Fuji in Ames is far better. I did like the chef at O'hanna he was nice and explained that they didn't do those two things. I honestly thought of trying cancel my order after I tried the shrimp. My advice is to try some other Japanese steakhouse if possible.
