The Goddard School of Wellington

My little girl absolutely loves the goddard school!
Ms.Patty takes a personal interest in all the kids and the teachers give them such wonderful exposure mixing fun with learning!
She cant wait to go to school and in just two weeks she is learning how to write words and her vocabulary has doubled!
My son was at this school for over 3 years and we are very happy they have maintained their quality of education and care!

As a mom of two children attending The Goddard school, I must say that I have had the most rewarding experience. When i was a first time mom I used to be appalled by the news of bad things happening to children in day care centers, so you can imagine how hard it was for me in choosing the right school for my daughter. However after much wandering around I came across The Goddard school. It did take time for me to become relaxed, but I have to give tremendous love to the staff at this school. The lessons being taught, the care given by the staff, and I don't just mean my children's teacher, I mean by all the staff. The courteous manner in which they behave and for stopping to give advice. I also love the activities created for the children. I have been happy to be apart of this experience with these wonderful people. Some have gone, some are still here, and new ones have come on, but that's all that changes. I appreciate them all so much. I love seeing the look on kids faces when I mention the school or the teachers, they get so excited, even when they are tired. And most importantly the joy of learning.



If you are looking for a place to send your children, this is that place.

The minute you meet the owner and NEW director, you will feel right at home. My pre-K daughter is reading at a first grade level. My 3 year old daughter has the vocabulary of a 6 year old! I've been to so many day cares, too many to count, and Goddard is amazing.



They have been operating less than a year, so there are some kinks to iron out, like in any organization. The owners are so nice, that my daughters INSIST on hugging them before they leave. The new director cares about kids, is super organized, and is making great things happen.



I have nothing negative to say about the old director. But it's the teachers that the kids spend time with, not the directors. The teachers there are great! They are loving, carding, and super interested in my girls' growth and development.



You can only get a feel for a pre-school / daycare by visiting with your own eyes and ears (and yes, NOSE!). The place is PRISTINE. There is LOVE in the air, something you rarely find in other places. This is a top-down love. The owner surrounds himself with people who love kids and love their jobs and love people. Other places feel like they are staffed with people who should be working at the DMV or post office.



Check it out for yourself, and then decide for yourself. In 5.5 years, I've been in 8 or 9 different childcare situations, and Goddard is by far the best.

The school opened just over a year and my child started going there almost since they opened.

Maydine the Director is great with the kids and when taking over she brought a fresh and professional. The staff will go the extra mile with children.

I have to TOTALLY DISAGREE with the first comment. I think the NEW DIRECTOR (Ms. Judy) is Amazing!!!! Ms. Judy is compassionate and kind. When my daughter cried on Day 1 she stayed with my daughter and gave her one-on-one attention and let my daughter spend the entire day with her so she would feel comfortable. She went above and beyond when I am sure she had a million other things to do.



My husband and I are so lucky to have found such a wonderful school for our daughter. The teachers, owners and director are all wonderful. The hours are wonderful for working parents like us (7am-6pm). Everything in the school is brand new and very clean, including all of the toys, furniture and books. My daughter is 3yr old and loves going to school. She hugs the owner and director every day when she leaves and she always comes home with some art project and a daily progress report customized for her. Most of all my daughter LOVES this school. She is learning new things and tells me every day how much she loves school. We HIGHLY recommend this school.
