I have been a client at this vet for 12 years and cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Jarrett or the staff. Everyone there is professional, friendly, compassionate and most importantly, excellent at their jobs. Doctor Jarrett always takes the time to explain everything and if he is always informed about new medicines or procedures in veterinary medicine. A little over a year ago, I began working with a non-profit group that does pet rescue. I wasn't at all surprised to learn that Dr. Jarrett was the vet they used. Dr. Jarrett gives huge discounts to our 501c3 group so that shelter animals have a chance for a new life through adoption. Rescued pets often have extensive medical problems and without his generosity we wouldn't be able to save so many. I highly recommend Dr. Jarrett and his staff for all the medical needs of your furry family members.

This is the best place to take you pets!! Doc Jarrett and his staff are amazing and friendly!! I have take several of my fosters animals here from a local rescue and they are the GREATEST around. All the staff members are awesome and hard working animal lovers. I always highly recommend Dr. Jerrett for anyone that is looking for a vet. NO complaints or issues ever. AGAIN they are AMAZING!!!!

As a director of an animal rescue I can not say enough about Doc and his staff. We had a hard time finding a vet clinic that was willing to help us with sick foster pets. As a 501c3 (non-profit) we had limited funds and we couldn't save as many animals as we had room for because we just simply couldn't find a vet willing to have a little faith in us and the critters. Then we found PCVH. That was 3 years ago and we have grown significantly over that time and we couldn't have done that without them. He and his staff have not only worked with us on the sick and injured animals but even came to us with the offer of starting a voucher program for spay, neuters and wellness checks for all of our adopted animals. In rescue this is priceless. We are now a few years into the voucher program and they have made it possible for hundreds of animals to go into new homes happy and healthy. They are compassionate and patient and genuinely care for the best interest of the animals in their care. I now use them for my personal animals and highly recommend them to anyone who asks for a vet referral.

All too often we are quick to complain abour negative experiences but fail to give praise for the positives. A few months ago we were referred by a friend to Parker County vet hospital, and well I want to give them praise! From the moment I first walk in the door my pets and I were greeted by a caring and sweet staff. Dr. Jarrett was a great doctor and took plenty of time to answer all my questions. A few weeks later I had to go out of town, even my dogs love staying the weekend at camp jarrett! Thanks guys for all you do and we will continue to trust you guys for all our animal needs!

Lol totally agree the lady @ the front desk is rude & un responsive when u ask a question. A little slow or just hates life & her job??? Cell #s are given for emergency on their business card, called & never got a response. Mind u she had the same last name as the doctor. Anyway thanx 4 the referral 2 Dr. Buchanan due 2 being out of town. Great Dr. & staff, caring, & fair prices. Not 2 mention he called me back quick n explained the tx. & addressed my concerns. c ya

Parker county vet is a joke!! The secretary up at front is very rude and the vet gives up when he can't think of anything else to do. His answer was we are just going to have to put him down! The only good thing about this place are the techs...they are kind and actually try to think of another option.

This is the only place I will take my dogs. The staff is caring and attentive and always puts my dog first. Dr. Jarrett is wonderful and I trust him to take care of my family dogs giving us years of experience. When my Bull Terrier was diagnosed with untreatable liver cancer he was honest and let me know in a very respectful and loving way that the best thing for my dog was to be put down. He could have offered high dollar tests, treatments and surgeries but chose to be honest to spare any additional pain and suffering to my dog. He even called me personally the next day to make sure I was ok.

We went to this clinic for the first time when our ten year old large dog went from normal to not walking in a matter of days. He had labored breathing and was not eating. We felt that he was dying and would rather put him to sleep then make him go on with no quality of life. The staff did not listen to anything my husband told them. They tried to make him feel guilty about wanting to put him to sleep. They told him they could do a blood test to see if he had cancer or any organ problems and acted like this was a cheap procedure. When he got the bill the blood work was 150 dollars alone. The vet yelled at our dog when he growled at her because she was touching him, which was painful. What kind of a vet yells at a dog who is in terrible pain? They were extremely rude and were just concerned with getting to Chili's to eat after they were done with us. This vet clinic just wants your money and does not care about your pet or your family.
