Sears Hometown Stores

I bought a Sears Craftsman 25cc gas powered blower/vac . Paid about $113 dollars

Very hard to get started. once started it only ran for about 15 min. I took this blower to the Sears outlet store in Waynesville NC. The management at the store told me no problem that the blower had a 2 year warranty , and they would simply send it out for repair. After a few weeks I called the Number provided for Sears Repair Services, and was told the blower was completely shot , and needed just about everything in the motor replaced , and this was not covered under the 2 year warrenty !!

I was told this would cost me about $174 dollars. (61 dollars more than I paid new) I said I would not pay. I was told sears would send the Blower back to my local Sears store. I went to pick up the blower at the Waynesville Sears Outlet Store and was told I owed them $50 dollars ! I said I would not Pay anyone for NOT fixing my blower ! Mr. Tony Long grabbed the blower and ran to the back of the store saying I could not have my blower back. I called the Waynesville Police who came right out. But Mr. Long still refused to return my broken blower. The Police said that I would have to take Mr. Long to Court , I will start this process Monday. As of right now Sears Outlet in Waynesville is Holding my Broken Blower hostage demanding I pay $50.00 or I will never see it again.........

I long for them good ol'days when a mans word was all you needed.



PS I never even got to blow my leaves with it!
