Yes, they have wicked high interest rates and certainly not the best company for loans. But, the rates are high because you mostly likely have less than perfect credit scores. In 2012, I badly needed a $12,000 loan and was turned down by others due to my poor credit. However, I was able to secure a $12,000 loan with them at around 19.5%. Yes, I know its high but I need it badly. Now that my credit score is MUCH higher I am able to obtain the same type of personal loans at 4-6%.

Thanks One Main for being there when I need the $$$ the most. I'm be more diligent of my credit so that I'll never ever have to borrow again at 20%+.

If they tell you 20% which is incredibly high, at the end of the loan it's more like 60. Almost all of the interest is paid in the first 2 years of a 4 year loan, so if you pay it off after then, you don't save much. Do the math before signing the line.

I would never recommend obtaining a loan from this Waynesville office. They have harassed up continually about payments even though we have always paid. They have lied to family members to obtain payments. They have threatened legal action when they know we ate making payments. They are rude.
