lousy! we had a 3:15 appt. for my husband who was in a great deal of pain. we arrived early like they want, the place was empty only two others waiting. the phones were ringing off the hook and we could here nurses chit chattin in the back. after an hour we asked a bitchy nurse if he would be taken back soon. She said "I wouldn't know im not on that doctors service" and walked away. my husband went upstairs to the check in to ask what was going on while up stairs a nurse finally came out for him. she was rude as hell and got worse when I told her he had gone upstairs and just kept asking if he was coming back I said yes he is in a lot of pain and took off work to be here I will go get him. we came back down moments later she was no where to be found and never came back. we had no choice but to get a refund for our copay and go home.

I am so astonished at the attitude of the nurses they were so rude and could not have cared less about the situation.

The United States medical syst...

The United States medical system is, so freaking messed up! On Saturday, I went to doctor Lee at the Carilion Clinic, for a swollen neck. All he did was, touch my neck for a second and look down my thought. He said, I had a lymph node infection and sent me on my way with a prescription of antibiotics. That night my symptoms got worse so, on Sunday I had to go to the emergeacair in walmart just to get referred to the emergency room. So then, I spent four hours in the er. waiting room. Then, another two hours waiting for a nurse. When the doctor finally saw me, he did a throat swab for strep and blood work for mono. When my blood work came back, it said I had mono. He told me the antibiotics my fam. doctor gave me wouldn't work for mono. He then, gave me steroids and a prescription for pain killers. I spent seven hours in the hospital! So, I went to get the scrip filled today to find out he only gave me one day worth of meds. So, now I have to go back to the doctor tomorrow and get a scrip for more meds. If doctor Lee would of ran blood work in the first place, I would of never had to go to the er. for seven hours but he didn't want to because it was Saturday and he was on call and did not want to be there so, he just rushed me out. Some one who really needed to go to the hospital could of had my place if my original doc would of did his job. What a big pile of B.S.!!!!!
