Goody's Pet Supply

This is the best store in existance. They have everything I need for my bearded dragon and the family shih-tzu. The whole staff is very well versed in the animals they carry, very kind, open to suggestions, and responsible. They aren't out here just to make money. They care about animals, and if they don't carry what you're looking for, they'll direct you somewhere else instead of selling you something that won't help. If you're buying an animal off of them (especially an exotic like lizards), they make sure that you know everything about their needs and if they realize that the animal is not fit for you or your budget, they'll kindly tell you that you're not ready for the animal you're looking at instead of selling the animal to you regardless of its wellfare. That's what's truly admirable. They are the ONLY pet store I have ever seen or even heard of that houses their bearded dragons correctly and gives 100% correct advice, unlike other stores that suggest the most expensive substrates and feeding options that can be lethal to younger dragons.

I cannot stress how wonderful these people are. If it wasn't for them, my beardie probably wouldn't be alive right now.

I have been going there for my bird and kitten/cat needs for almost three decades. Excellent customer service ! ! I believe they have a very wide selection of supplies that is better than most of the large commercial store chains. I've lived in Wayne 37 years and try to support local businesses.

I purchased a baby bearded dragon on 4/2/16. The little guy wasn't eating and I just thought that he was still adjusting to his new surroundings. I decided to take him to an exotic animal Vet on 4/10/16 just to give him a look. She took a fresh stool sample from him, looked under the microscope and discovered he has parasites and worms! He was dewormed and is currently awaiting more treatment. I went to Goody's on 4/13/16 just to let them know and was asked why I didn't call them and told they would not reimburse me for the Vet bill but did reimburse me for the cost of the bearded dragon. Now I'm stuck paying Vet bills that cost more than what I paid for him! Mind you this little guy had a cage mate so that one is probably sick too! Buyer Beware!
