Comfort Inn

Had 2 employees come down to do some training at our Waycross location. The Econo lodge is very convenient. So, booked the room. They showed up and the room they were given had black stuff in the tub (they had to shower with their flip flops on), urine on the toilet seat, and hair in the bed. I instructed them to change rooms on the next night. They were shown to another room which was moldy/mildewy smelling with urine on the toilet again. They were assured the room would be clean before they showed back up. However, upon their return the room had not been cleaned. When they approached the front desk about it, they were informed that it is an older hotel and they should not expect it to be perfect. The hotel staff told them that the room had been cleaned with bleach but our employees told me there was NO bleach smell. Our employees ordered a pizza that evening and asked if they could have a couple of paper plates to eat on. They were told to come down to the kitchen area. A hotel employee accompanied them into the kitchen area and stood watch over them while they got their two paper plates. As they headed back up to their rooms the hotel employee made a miniature violin gesture with her hand at the front desk employee and they had themselves a good chuckle. I attempted to call the manager and was told to try back in 10 minutes. Called again and was then told he was busy and would have to return my call. I haven't heard from him yet.
