Axtell Acupuncture is Central Maine's resource for traditional Chinese therapies including herbalism, acupuncture, and manual techniques. Customized qi gong exercises during treatments and dietary recommendations based on the individuals constitution provide patients with tools to prolong the benefits of each session they receive! His motivation is to work with a variety of other practitioners, whether they be from a Western or alternative mindset, to find the treatment that works best for the patient. He is a member of the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), the Maine Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAAOM), and is licensed to practice both acupuncture and Chinese herbalism in Maine. Axtell Acupuncture's mission is to provide healthcare to patients that is equally grounded in both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and modern medical practices encompassing western medical assessment of a variety of disease conditions. Sincere service is delivered to patients in an honest and effective manner in order to educate and help patients achieve their health goals as efficiently as possible.
