Jewish Community Day School offers education to more than 150 students in elementary and middle school students. The school serves students in kindergarten through grade eight. It specializes in Hebrew language and Jewish studies. The school teaches Jewish values, traditions, prayers and texts, and it supports a variety of beliefs and practices among its constituent families. Founded in 1995, it is a member of the Association of Independent Schools of New England and the National Association Independent Schools. Jewish Community Day School additionally provides flexible tuition and after-school programs. The school is a beneficiary agency of the Combined Jewish Philanthropies and receives support from the Bureau of Jewish Education of Greater Boston. Its curriculum also includes science, math, social studies, English, art and music.
