The Hills

The Hills Restaurant is one of my favorite Waterbury area restaurants. The prices are reasonable, service is very friendly, and you get big, delicious portions for your money. Plan on bringing food home. One of my favorites is the Chicken Aurora, and I'm in love with the Espresso martinis! The bar can get a little loud during dinner, so ask for the dining room if you're looking for a more quite experience. The patio is great in the summer, but it can get crowed quick and be hard to get a table outside. Definitely worth a try if you've never been.

The Hills is a classic local Waterbury spot. I've been to the hills for lunch and dinner and have not been disappointed. I'm a big fan of their Chicken Parm (how can you go wrong with a good chicken parm?!?) and if I'm feeling frisky, I go with the chicken aurora or a steak, maybe a personal pizza. My girlfriend always has the create your salad. There must be like a billion possible combinations of all toppings for the salads. For drinks, I'm a domestic beer kinda guy, and I can honestly say the bud light bottles are the coldest i've ever had, almost frozen. Nothing beats a frosty cold beer with a bite to eat! My girlfriend usually goes for the martini list, which she seems to always like, but I have never tried the martini list drinks. It depends what you're looking for, but I think the hills is a good call that will work for a lot different people and palates.

The Hills is great. Definitely worth a try if you're dining in the Waterbury area. They have a big menu with lots of items and have very generous portions. I go there regularly for lunch and dinner and always have a great experience.

I moved to the Waterbury area about a year ago and have been looking for places to go to eat. I found the Hills and think it's one of the best places around. Nice atmosphere, good staff, good value. Watch out, they have big portions, so you'll probably have a doggie bag, or maybe share something if you're not a big eater. The bar can get busy and loud so if you want a quite dinner ask to sit in the dining room.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Will go back again and again.
