I have had my nails done at Extremeties for more than a year and have always received great service. I have always made an appointment and have only had to wait once or twice. They do a great job and are quick. I find it inexpensive ($42) since I have paid up to $100 for both a manicure and pedicure at Elizabeth Arden.

This was the worst manicure I have ever had. I went to Extremities about a month ago and will nevel return. My nails were not filed evenly. My nail tech's nails were very dirtly looking and I ask if I could wash my hands when she was done. This girl did not polish very well either. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy if I had enemies. As soon as my nails were dry, I retrieved my bag and left without leaving a tip. I recommend that you save your hard earned money and do your nails yourself. This is what I do now.

If you ever get any nail care service from XTREMITIES, total nail care salon at 1400 L Street, NW, Washington DC 20005 (202) 371-1177, please never have the owner work on your nails. She is incompetent, sloppy, very unprofessional, and RUDE. When she did my nails, everything was sloppy and uneven. When I asked her nicely to change it and correct the problem. She had a very hard time accepting that. She was turning my hands in all directions while asking what was wrong with her job; she started reviewing her experience with me. How she has done nails for 10 years and knows what she is doing. After I pointed out the flaws, she threw my hands and said that the problem was that my hands were ugly and short and that it was not her work. I simply said if someone else can redo them, she made me wait for 45 mins to get my nails redone. While seeing workers nearby sitting around, I simply asked them if they were available. They were about to talk but the owner rudely interrupted and said, "Stop talking to them, don’t you trust me that the next available appointment is in 45 mins?" I said, "Is there something wrong for me to ask if they were available" and asked why she is being so rude. She said, "Your nails are ugly that’s why you are not happy, not because of my work". She continued talking about how there was no hope and that my nails are so ugly. The workers there were very apologetic and I tipped their service accordingly. I am just very unpleased about the treatment I had gotten from the owner.
