Dental Sealants
As early as age two, we may clean your child’s teeth and apply topical fluoride to help protect the primary and the developing permanent teeth against decay. We will assess whether your child is receiving adequate fluoride in their drinking water. At some point, we may recommend sealants to protect decay-prone back teeth. Tooth sealant bonds into the grooves of the chewing surface to help prevent the formation of cavities.

Root Canal Treatment
Born and raised in Macon, Dr. Lacy Garrett has been a Georgia Bulldog her whole life and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Georgia. Dr. Lacy then went on to receive her dental degree and speciality training in Pediatric Dentistry from the Medical College of Georgia. She was appointed as chief during her residency, where she conducted and published several research documents on the topics of endodontics and craniofacial anomalies. Just after earning her certificate in Pediatric Dentistry, she became Board Certified with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dental Implants
• If you cannot re-implant the tooth, keep the tooth moist. Either coat the tooth in milk or saliva (your child’s saliva or your own if the tooth would be a choking hazard for your child). If the tooth dries out, the chances of a successful re-implantation are less.
