Resin Composite
A bonding is a composite resin that is used as an alternative to amalgams and veneers. This is an excellent cosmetic option for those patients who do not want the look of silver in their mouths and do not want the expense of veneers. Bondings can be used on teeth that are decayed, cracked, or stained. Although composite resins are cosmetically pleasing and easily placed, their durability is not as strong as other types of restorations.
Veneers
Porcelain veneers are used to modify the shape and color of teeth. Veneers are thin shells of porcelain that are bonded to the front of the patient’s tooth to create a new smile. Porcelain veneers are placed over the front of teeth that appear too small or large, slightly discolored, chipped, are slightly crooked, or simply are not cosmetically -pleasing to the patient.
Crowns
Eileen arrived at our office with “finished crowns and temporary crowns” on her upper teeth after having been under the care of her general dentist for over a year. She was unhappy with the aesthetic appearance of her smile and her time invested for the results she was receiving. Eileen thought her restorative outcome was hopeless and sought our services.
Bridges
A bridge is a link or connection between two permanent structures. A dental bridge is very similar in that it attaches the restorative teeth (bridge) to the natural teeth on either side of the space. This bridge acts as new teeth, closing the gap and making your smile like new again. Bridges can be constructed of metal or gold foundations with porcelain attached to the foundation. This restorative solution is bonded to the natural teeth, and cannot be removed by the patient.
Dental Bonding

Root Canal Treatment
Crowns conceal or “cap” a tooth to repair normal function and appearance. Crowns may be made from all ceramic/porcelain materials (no metal), porcelain fused to gold, or all gold. Crowns are indicated for teeth that have fractured, have large failing restorations, that have had a root canal, or for teeth that are misshapen and/or discolored.

Dentures
Dentures, also known as false teeth, are prosthetic devices constructed to replace missing teeth; they are supported by the surrounding soft and hard tissues of the oral cavity. Conventional dentures are removable (removable partial denture or complete denture ).
Overdentures
Dentures are prosthetic devices made to replace missing teeth; they’re supported by surrounding soft and hard tissues of the oral cavity. Conventional dentures are convenient, as you can remove them when necessary. However there are many different denture designs, some of which rely on bonding or clipping onto teeth (removable partial dentures) or dental implants (implant overdentures).

Dr. Pacinelli has been nationally recognized for his research on aesthetic dental materials. He has lectured nationally on the topics of dental implant restoration, dental aesthetics and dental materials. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontists and Academy of Osseointegration.

Dr. Fraccalvieri believes in treating patients by utilizing advanced technology in conjunction with most current knowledge in dental medicine. He is one of only a few dentists to participate in the Invisalign Pro training program, and has extensive knowledge of Laser and CAD/CAM digital dentistry.

Prosthodontists specialize in the restoration of oral function by creating prostheses and restorations (i.e., complete dentures, crowns, implant retained/supported restorations). Cosmetic dentistry, implants and joint problems all fall under the field of prosthodontics.
General Dentistry
Dr. Predmore graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He joined his father, Dr. Earl S. Predmore, in his general dentistry practice in East Meadow. They practiced together until Dr. Earl Predmore retired in 1981. Dr. Predmore has a strong committment to staying current with ideas and procedures in dentistry. In the past, he has taught at NYU School of Dentistry as an adjunct clinical instructor and he personally has taken many continuing education courses including training at the Pankey Institute.
