The company has six plumbing supply branches with 130 employees. GPS also owns two electrical equipment supply branches under the names of General Wholesale Supply and General Supply. It is an authorized distributor for American Standard plumbing products, A.O. Smith water heaters and Bryant electrical components. The company stocks a complete line of water heaters, boilers, pumps, toilets, faucets, sinks, garbage disposals, shower and tub components, as well as steel, plastic, cast iron, brass and copper pipe and tubing, fittings, valves and joining materials for each type of pipe.

        We bought all our plumbing fix...

        We bought all our plumbing fixtures from them 5 years ago when we remodeled a condo. Just bought a new toilet a month ago. Then a few weeks ago we had a problem with the kitchen sink fixture that we bought 5 years ago and they found the part and called me the next day to pick it up. It was all covered under warantee. We have had nothing but excellent service from them. Thank you Patty and Paul. You are great.

        General Plumbing has great inventory, very friendly personnel and a great showroom for consumer sales. I have always found what I need (either fixtures or parts). In one case the salesman knew what I needed and took me out to a bunch of old hot water heaters and just pulled a part off and gave it to me for free! My only knock is that they are pricier than others.
