Emergency Care
Dr. Weldy's is excited to announce that we will now be offering after-hour Emergency Care for dogs and cats in addition to farm animals!
Immunizations
Wellness exams - includes routine hoof care, annual vaccinations for Rabies, Clostridium C & D (over-eating disease), Tetanus. Includes worming and boosters for vitamin E and selenium to prevent white muscle disease. Includes vaccination for rhinopneumonitis for camelids housed with equines. We evaluate body scores annually as obesity is such a problem in these animals.

Pregnancy

Prostate Cancer
No, there is no advantage to letting your pet have one litter. However there are plenty of advantages to having you pet spayed or neutered. These advantages include decreasing the chances of breast tumors later in life, decreasing the chance of cystic ovaries and uterine infections later in life, decreasing the desire to roam the neighborhood, decreasing the incidence of prostate cancer later in life, helping prevent spraying and marking, as well as also decreasing the surplus of unwanted puppies and kittens.

Neurology
Graduated from Michigan State University in 2018 and joined Dr. Weldy's in June of 2018. Her professional interests are cattle and small ruminants in large animals, but she also enjoys neurology and cardiology in small animal, as well as providing as much of a fear-less experience as possible for any of her nervous patients. Dr. Gelok enjoys traveling when not at work, as well as participating in crossfit and exploring new breweries.

Ultrasound
Dr. Weldy's Associates is a high quality, multi-doctor, mixed animal practice. We utilize advanced diagnostics including digital x-ray, digital ultrasound, thermography, and shockwave treatments. Our facility has capacity for small animal and large animal surgery, kennels, stalls, and isolation with temperature controlled rooms. We also offer drive-in service for large or debilitated animal care.
Radiology
We also offer the same list of specialized procedures for equines as listed above including ultrasonography for pregnancy detection and radiology for injured animals.

Orthopedics
Graduated from Purdue University Veterinary school in 2007 and joined Dr. Weldy's upon graduation. His professional interests are small animal surgery with an emphasis on orthopedics and soft tissue. He also enjoys working with large animals in addition to small animals in the clinic. He grew up in Wakarusa and attended NorthWood High School. Dr. Sellon enjoys spending his time outside of work with his family and on the lake as often as possible.
