Glacier Water Service Inc

I am in Mesa, Az. and was debating on whether or not to purchase Glacier Water from their vending machine located just outside of my local Farmer's Market. I wanted to get information on how often they change their filters and had called the corp. office in Vista, Ca. requesting the contact name of the person who maintains the machine in my area. I asked if they could provide maintenance info. on this machine, as my family drinks a lot of water, especially here in the hot desert, and bottled water off the shelf is becoming to expensive for us. (There is no schedule of the last filter change posted on the machine, nor any maintenance person's name or contact info). I asked the store manager who the rep. was for the Glacier machine, and she shrugged her shoulders saying that she rarely sees anyone. So, I was hesitant to purchase the water without knowing for certain the maintenance records. When I called Glacier's Corp office in Vista, Ca., the lady who answered was EXTREMELY RUDE and condescending, repeating over and over as if she were "script reading" and saying "Ma'am, our filters are changed every 3 weeks" (or something of that nature. I asked to please have someone in my area, perhaps the maintenance person, to please contact me. She was cold and nasty and said "Ma'am, excuse me, but we don't provide our mainteance records to JUST ANYONE"!!! (I said I'm not "just anyone"; I'm a potential customer who buys LOTS of bottled water, and as a consumer, I'd like to know about the product I am purchasing". She said she's have the District Manager contact me, but, she never did. That was weeks ago, and I've not received any calls. I also emailed them via their website............with 3 different emails, and no response. I recently checked on ewg.org and saw that the Glacier Water rating (bottled) has a very "murky" rating. So, you can bet I wont' be buying their water! Lousy, nasty, ignorant, and rude Customer Service personnel manning the phones, and, no response to emails sent on their website, and no call back from the District Manager for my area, as promised. Instead, we are carbon filtering our city tap water, and that's better then Glacier's Bottled water!!!!
