        My favorite local spot ruined due to poor management

        On 6/30 I shared part of my wedding at Watermans. Since I moved to Va Beach, I have been a favorite of the restaraunt. That all changed for me. On the most important day of my life to date, the management was rude and unaccomodating. I dealt with the event planner Anne, who on the day of the event was no where to be found.Nothing was set up for our party. I was told I would be in a private room away from the rest of the diners, and instead I was put in a different location, the tables were not ready and my bridesmaid basically looked like she worked for Watermans because she was doing all of the work. The kitchen staff dropped a box on my cake. Managements apology... they removed the plate charge ($15) and said oh we are sorry. I mean really its not like it was a desert cake, it was my WEDDING CAKE. And to make matters worse, he was ignorant and snide to my mother. I will never go there again. I was hurt and sad. If they are uncaring for a large party, imagine a couple...
