        The most horrible hotel I've been in!

        This hotel was so disgusting that we had to go to Big K-Mart and get cleaning supplies to clean the room before we could unpack. The elevator was broken when we got there, so we had to carry our luggage up several flights of stairs. It took about 30 minutes to do so with children. When I went back down to get my money back b/c of the shape of the room, the rude woman at the counter told me there was a 15 minute clause on the receipt for a refund, and I had paid in full for the week at check-in. The door to our room had been kicked in and would not lock properly. The sprinkler system was held up by duct tape. When I asked the maid for clean towels she handed me a stack that had been sitting on a pile of cigarette butts from a dumped out ashtray. Once the elevator was repaired on the third day, the floor of it felt like it was going to fall in. It was covered with several rubber mats. 25-30 years old. The online pics of this hotel have to be AT LEAST I've stayed at several places in Virginia Beach, and this was by far the worst! I'm posting several other reviews of hotels I've stayed in if you're looking for a nice place...
