Taj Bazar

I recently went there a few times , and I loved it , the hospitality is also nice

I am totally NOT satisfied with my last two visits to Taj Bazar. In my second to the last visit, I bought one can of dates honey which was in sale for $5 (usually I buy it for $7 ). When I opened it at home, it was stinky and not eatable at all. In my last visit, I bought a big Medjool dates box for around $60, again, I have thrown MOST of, if not all, the dates pieces because the box's content was in horrible condition and rot!! In short, I have ended up paying $70 for nothing.

This place has good Indian spices, ready to eat rotis/parathas, pickles, coconuts and fresh herbs, vegetables, etc. Fresh samosas as of 14th June 2013 cost me $1 each. Another Indian Grocery Store (SWAGAT SPICES AND INDIAN SPECIALITIES) also very good has samosas for $0.99 each. Both these places carry good Indian Stuff if you stay around Virginia Beach/Chesapeake area.

Best vegan, curries and natural health products around! Definitely check it out! I loved it!

We were very impressed to shop at Taj Bazar. They have so much of varieties of products. Fresh vegetables, spices, teas, grains, lentils, pickles,masalas, snacks, namkeens,desi yogurts, ready to cook, dvds/cds of movies and songs,magazines and cook books are all impressively displayed.Their frozen food (ready to eat & ready to cook)section deserves a special mention for their varieties and freshness. Their fresh samosas and chapatis were real delight.They also have whole lot of Arabic and Asian products.It is very neat and clean and well organized. they also provide beautycare services at that place.My wife who is very price cautious, rated their prices as cheaper than New york and DC. Their FDA certified fresh halal meat is a boon to all communities.Above all we got very friendly and courtetious service from the staff. A must visit store.
