My June wedding was perfect, and I wouldn't change a thing- except for the fact that the photobooth we arranged with Smash Elite never showed, and we never got a phone call, email, text, nothing, until my wedding coordinator finally called and their machine stated their was some family emergency... and that was that.

I got an EMAIL a few days later apologizing and assuring us we would get a refund. They are a family owned business, and in their emergency had NO back up plan, no regard for paying customers, and we basically got the impression that they really didn't care. The owner said they had to cancel FOUR weddings that weekend. My wedding was a Sunday evening. If they had to cancel four other weddings then they would have had plenty of time to make arrangements for SOMEONE to at least give notice that they weren't going to show.

The photobooth was supposed to serve as my guestbook. So I get to my reception and have no photobooth, no guestbook, nothing. No way for my guests to leave their names, congratulations and advice. Luckily my wedding coordinator was able to send someone out to pick something up (which ended up being a huge lime green book with tear out pages). Smash Elite RUINED one of the most important keepsakes from my wedding.

I was appalled by the disregard for my event- although I understand emergencies happen- when you have a family owned business, you have to have a back up plan. For them to send an EMAIL apology and refund our money and think that would suffice, just shows their lack of professionalism, customer service, and ability to run a business. I would never ever suggest them to anyone I know
