One of my dogs got a big rip from a nail on the 4th of July weekend out at my place at Grand Lake. Since I am from Tulsa I asked one of my neighbors who to go to and she recomended this Vet.



It was after hours on Saturday. I left a message and he called me back promptly and we arranged to meet him at his office.



When we got there he didn't have an assistant becuase they were actually closed so I eneded up helping him...basically holding the dogs leg out of the way etc while he did his work. You have to have confidence in what you are doing to let the pet owners help.



He did a great job, obviously cares deeply about animals as he pointed out some things about my dogs big canine tooth that I needed to keep my eye on as he worked.



After all this I was bracing for the bill. It was $230. In Tulsa this would have probably cost over twice that during normal hours and forget about a holiday weekend.



Bottom line...this guy is great and if I lived within 60 miles of him, he would be my primary vet instead of my vacation home one.
