Overall

I met Linda in our business group, Business Network International, or BNI for short. I, and many others in our group, have used her for years, with NO complaints. I currently live over 1 hour away, and will still use her for my needs. Service is exceptional. 2 thumbs up!

I went to Champion when I firs...

I went to Champion when I first found them years ago on Wheat Rd., and I have been a loyal customer ever since. I also am shocked at the reviews below. Champion has always bent over backwards to get my orders done when and how I want them. Every time I am in the shop Linda and her employees are working on some new and wonderful project and they always suggest ideas to make whatever I'm ordering (plaques and name tags usually) even better. I'll admit that I've gone into the shop and given them tough deadlines (one or two days) and Linda makes it happen. You go to any other shop and give them a deadline for less than a week and they will tell you to take a hike! I will continue to give Champion my business and I highly recommend them to everyone!!!!

WOW, I came on her to get Champion Awards phone # and I shocked to see the reviews,, I myself have been using their services for a few years now,,and never did I have a problem,,Well I guess you cant please everyone,, I would HIGHLY recommend their services today ,just like I have in the past, I was so disappointed to read a negative review I just had to tell you about my experiences have always been pleasant as well as many other folks in my area that use Champion awards

First off, I only gave one star because it would not allow to to write a review otherwise I would have selected none. I have never been treated with more disrespect and hostility in my lifetime. I advise anyone who is looking for quality customer service to look elsewhere. I went to Champion looking for a simple plaque for my deceased grandmother and the second i walked in the door i was talked down to. The owner was very rude and did not even get up to help me. She instead screamed repeatedly at the employees that there was a customer. I admit that i do not know much about plaques but when she finally came to help she was very annoyed at the fact that i did not know what i wanted and said she was having a verrrrrry busy day and could not stand around all day waiting for me to decide. Needless to say i will never be going back to that place.

the customer service is horrib...

the customer service is horrible. my husband went in to put his name on his fantasy football trophy, and because it was almost draft time, and he wanted it, they gave him a hard time and treated him like crap. they told him they need at least a weeks notice, which is fine, but this is the first year my husband has won and had no idea how it worked. he stated that he didnt know, apologized, and said he would take it somewhere else then if they couldnt do it. the manager responded with, well im not going to turn your business away, but...., and proceeded to give him attitude and make him fell like crap over it, not to mention the huffs and puffs and dirty look she gave him. in my opinion, i wouldnt have let her do it anyway just for that. then the manager told the person who bought the trophie for the league his business. im sorry, but this is not how you handle customer service, and if my husband wins again this year, we will actually pay money if we have too to get his plaque on their SOMEWHERE else. i do not appreciate how she treated my husband. thats fine if she needed a weeks notice, but she didnt have to treat my husband that way. thats not how you do business, or treat your customers. and after 15 minutes of complaining of how he should have came in earlier and not wait to last minute, she ended up calling him in a half hour anyway to pick it up, Really? wow. unbelievable. my husband wasnt aware of the process beings he never had a trophy before, but that shouldnt matter. do your job the way your supposed to do your job and have a little business ethic when you deal with your customers, i would NOT recommend this business to anyone, in my personal opinion. we will never go back and definitely use someone else. talk about first impressions! well chmpions blew it. they should learn better customer service.

I can appreciate the customer's point of view. I am a small business with many deadlines. I plan by the week to meet these deadlines. When someone comes in afternoon on a Thursday needing something for the next day, it is necessary to explain our usual turnaround times. I told him that I was sure he had that trophy for months. I told him that since the trophy came from our shop, I wouldn't turn him away. I stopped what I was doing and got it done for him right away, called within a half hour, and didn't charge him for it. Because he didn't know to bring in the trophy earlier, I mentioned it to the guy in charge of the league so that it wouldn't happen to someone else. I pride myself in quality work and excellent customer service. If this customoer got a bad first impression, I cannot change that. The plate was made in an extremely timely manner and my intent was to impress upon those involved to bring in the awards sooner.
