Nice store& easy to find items. Thought the owner seemed nice. But slow days makes people so scandalous things I guess... Here’s what happened. I went to make a purchase only to realize I was being overcharged 70 cents at the end. My item was $1.99, and when he rang we up it said $2.19 with tax (I think he thought I didn’t see that cause he was taking), but then all of a sudden it said $2.89??! I hate small liquor stores that over charge. I brought it up, and asked why it was more cause I just saw it final priced at $2.19. He looked super anxious, and shrugged his shoulders. So I asked again, “Was it a debit charge cause I saw the final price a second ago...?” And he said, “Oh yeah yeah it was a debit charge...” Been here before, always use a card, and that never happened! Plus he said yeah yeah .75 cents for debit. BUT... It would have been $2.94 then! Like I said... Not cool. He looked so anxious when I made a comment about it. After seeing this happen, and him seeing me catch it, I’m pretty sure he knows I’m either not coming back... Or going to keep an eye next time... I felt like I should just warn people to always pay attention to what your charged! Even if it’s less than a dollar extra, it adds up! And this dish soap was only $1.99 (usually $1 at the store), and I just paid $2.89.
