We recently spent 2 months at Gateway to the Gulf RV park. The park was clean, very few small trees not useful for any shade. The WiFi was terrible, if you could get online it didn't last long. Cable was available just not any good so we had to use our DISH. Some of the pads had concrete for the trailers others were gravel sites. We were on a gravel spot which was fine until the grass started growing and we discovered that there was no grass just weeds and sand spurs. When we asked if they were going to spray for them the response was "next week". In 2 months next week never came. We had to shave our dog to try to limit the sand spurs that were carried and tracked into our trailer.
The park recently sold and two of the camp workers took over as managers. We felt like we were at their personal property and even though we had paid rent we could and would possibility get told to leave with no refund of course. Our neighbor told us that after living at the park for 3 years he was leaving because of the management changes. The RV workmen had to come to fix some things on our trailer several times. These were the same workmen that have come into the park for years doing service work on individuals trailers. Every time they came the managers would fly down to our site in the golf cart and jump on the workmen. I was at the front by the office when they came in one day. The wife came flying out of the office and I told her he was there to see me but she still chewed him out!
We were quiet and kept our site clean. This park was our home but we felt like intruders every time we went outside our trailer. Campers were encouraged to report one another. The final straw was when someone came to our trailer and they were there maybe 2 minutes and left. Apparently they did not stop at the office when they came in and were leaving by the time the wife could race the golf cart to our site. She chased them all the way out of the park but they did not stop. She told me since she could not yell at them she came back to my trailer and was BEATING on my door to yell at me! She was so mad she was physically shaking and yelling at me because they didn't stop and she said they were speeding, when they came in but not going out of the park! I am not responsible for some one elses behavior, we followed the rules. There is no excuse for the way she acted NO ONE IN A MANAGEMENT POSITION SHOULD EVER ACT THAT WAY! PERIOD! I am not going to stay where we and our guest are unwelcome. It is a shame the new managers are running off so many of the campers not all the workers were like them. We will not use this park again especially as there are other parks in this town that are much nicer.

Went there recently to inquire about a site. The person behind the desk was less than entirely helpful. She seemed disinterested in answering any questions I had, and instead merely pushed a 8th generation copy across the counter with the rates printed on it. She assured me that the owner would be contacting me, and big surprise as that didn't happen. I would imagine that most any business would want to welcome additional customers, I certainly didn't get that vibe here. My $$$'s will be spent elsewhere
