If you go here, just get the clam chowder. It's delicious. Everything else is pretty sub-par, not very tasty. We ate there yesterday. One person in our party sent his swordfish back because it was so dry. I had a cheeseburger and it came dry. The "sauce" that came on the side was completely tasteless.
Our waiter was not attentive. We never got our drinks refilled or our table bussed. I guess the beautiful view is a huge draw but as a local, I only go there if someone else is making the decision.

By far the best view in Ventura County! The food is great... Especially the (garlic baked clams, clam chowder and breaded Ahi) I understand the restaurant is family owned and operated and if you have a problem they want to hear about it. Don't leave unhappy like some of the other reviewers... I loved it ...

Their clam chowder is to die for! The oysters were icy and fresh, my shrimp & scallop spinach and cream pasta was amazing. The server was friendly....we had Erica for the night. She did well with my 2 year old. I'm sorry my daughter made a mess...Great seafood and stunning scenery. If you come to Ventura you have to check this place out!

I am sorry to say this because we have had some delicious visits on previous occassions. We went for Mother's Day and picked from their catch of the day menu. I had the Alaskan Halibut and my wife had the Seafood Pasta. My Halibut was drenched in a heavy cream that was slabbed on to hide the fact that it was not fresh! First it did not mask the foul taste but was also brought half cold and half hot. As for the Pasta it could have past for frozen microwaveble overcooked pasta, we had to send it back it was that bad! We are not one to complain however when you spend $20.00 on a plate you should expect some level of quality....
I am truly sorry to post something like this but feel that it is our duty to protect future patrons from fraudulent restaurants...
