BEWARE, he is a liar and a cheat. He said he did a full tune up and replaced my valve cover gasket. I took my car back four times and each time he said it was normal and fine. My motor is now blown in my car. Upon taking my car to a real mechanic I found out he did nothing but change my spark plugs. He charged me $365 to change my spark plugs.

This is a true story...

So I bought a car off of craigslist and we all know what we get when we do that... A car someone else doesn't want anymore... Anyways, I bought a 96 eagle talon esi off of this guy on craigslist. Night I got it back to Oregon the clutch started slipping, so I called the previous owner and got him to flip the bill to have someone fix it. He told me he knew this guy "Lupe" that owned a shop in Vancouver and has worked on his cars in the past. I thought, "No, problem! Not my first choice of shops but he's paying for it so why not?" Bad Move...

So I hobble the car in to Vancouver (a 30 minute trip that is nobody elses fault other than my own) and proceed to Lupe's Auto Clinic. When I get there I notice that it seems very shady and dirty. I see sketchy people everywhere. Drop the car off and head home.

I don't get the phone call the next day and have to constantly keep calling until FINALLY someone picks up and informs me that they replaced the clutch and everything is good to go. So I drive the car home very easily since it's a new clutch. Here's where it gets fun.

Slipped the clutch while driving at a normal pace (SINCE ITS A NEW CLUTCH). Call Lupe... No answer... FOR DAYS!!!!! I call every hour or so during business hours and get nothing. I finally got through after 4 or 5 days and ask about whats happening since nothing has actually been fixed. He agrees to fix it.

I have the car towed...

A week later AGAIN I have to call constantly to get my car back. When I pick it up, it is sitting after hours with the key in the middle console AT DARK next to the seedy repair shop. Drive the car home.

Slip the clutch on the way home... Call again and never get an answer on the phone ever again. Called for a week straight. Finally I took the car to CLUTCH DOCTORS and it ended up being a master cylinder in my clutch assembly... $140 dollar fix. Car never had issues again. UNTILLLLLL.....

Car wont start. Grinds like the starter is going out or something. Back to Clutch Doctors! Apparently Lupe's Auto Clinic had forgot to install two dowel pins that hold my transmission in place and the starter wasn't lined up properly so it scored my crank on my transmission and I never got release bearings to sit properly. They always made noise after that.

I'm writing this so hopefully someone else will be saved from these jokers. Thanks for your time.

If i could give Lupes Auto Clinic negative stars I would! Please stay away from this junk yard. My husband recently took Lupe his car to replace a part on the car, a couple of days later he went back to get the car back and the car barely made it home which is like 2 miles away from Lupe's auto clinic. Not only did my husband spend 400 dollars on part that was supposed to be fixed and make the car work we had to hire a towing truck which was 100 dollars to take it to a different mechanic and spend another 100 for the new mechanic to fix the car. Thankfully the new mechanic knew what he was doing and didn't rip us off. If you want a crappy job done for a bunch of money take it to Lupes so that a wanna be mechanic that didn't go to school can screw up your car.
