FIAH was exceptional for our family as we had to put our father into hospice. Elsie was our contact and she was incredibly personable and involved for us, we always felt like we were her priority. And the people who came to visit our father were all wonderful and even though he was a tough guy, he really liked them. We just knew he was being well taken care of. When the end came for Dad, they handled his passing professionally and with great care, and they made sure it was peaceful and comfortable — they treated him as if he were their own relative, which was a great comfort to us. I would recommend this business to anybody — it’s not treated as a business, in fact, it’s like a sacred duty. Thank you to everybody there.

I can’t say enough about the amazing, caring people working at Faith In Angels Hospice. Everyone at 'FIAH’ knew my father and the peculiarities of his care. After our father fell and broke his upper arm, his health began to fail quickly. My sister and I were lost in trying to figure out what to do next. He couldn’t go back to his assisted living facility and he wasn’t ambulatory or mentally capable of recuperating at a convalescent home. In my deepest despair, through God’s grace, I found the phone number of Elsie at Faith In Angels Hospice. I didn’t know what hospice was, or what it even meant. Elsie talked me through different options and what they meant for my father. She spent hours on the phone with me, helping me understand everything I could. Elsie and her team were able to help us find a board and care facility that was within our budget. I can’t stress that enough: within our budget. Anyone can find a solution if money is unlimited. We had a small budget and Dad needed a lot of care.

The board and care facility with whom FIAH worked was close enough to my home that I could visit often. The staff there were also amazing. Dad was always clean, happy and smiling when we visited. FIAH took care of the communication between the actual caregivers, nurses and doctor to provide the best balance of medications, proper nutrition and his happiness.

The depth of care given by everyone at FIAH is extraordinary. From the business office, to the nursing staff, to the spiritual advisor and bereavement counselor, owners Armani and Nicole Voss have put together an amazing team of caring, compassionate professionals. It all started with my first contact with Elsie, the Regional Director. We are so blessed to have met this spectacular group of people at a traumatic time. They went over and above the call of duty at every turn. Our most heartfelt thanks go to everyone at Faith In Angels Hospice. Thank you

Do not ever sign on with this hospice.

My father went home and he had no medications ready for him at home. There were no nebulizer meds, no Morphine, no Atropine, no Lorazepam.

The hospice nurse they sent did not even know what meds my father should have been on. He was getting annoyed at us for not knowing.

It is a good thing I am a hospitalist NP and I know what the procedure is for patients going home with hospice and I told him that he should have a med list. The hospice nurse did his paperwork for at least 3 hours and did not even pay attention to my father who was so short of breath, was very anxious and clearly needed medications.

The hospice nurse who saw us at the hospital admitted it herself that the medication list should have been faxed to their office so that my father's home hospice meds would have been ready.

My experience with this hospice left a bad taste in my mouth.
