Montessori of Valencia

We absolutely love MOV! My son has been attending this school for over a year now. He loves his teachers. They are patient, caring and always looking out for what is best for my son's needs along with his friends in class. The school is immaculate and organized. The curriculum is structured as it should be for a Montessori school. And my son loves the structure and knows what to expect each day. I highly recommend this school!

My 3 year old daughter has been attending this school since November of 2011. So far we have been very pleased with the curriculum and other activities. My daughter loves school and is happy to go every day. Ive never seen the "yelling" that the other reviewer was talking about. Most days it's so quiet you wouldn't know there are 100+ kids in the school! Most of the teachers are wonderful and sweet and they know all of the children by name even the ones not in their class. I do have one negative comment on one of the teachers in my daughters class. She seems overwhelmed by the class size and seems to be a generally miserable and negative person. But the other teacher in the class is AMAZINGLY sweet and patient and balances out the grouchiness of the other teacher. And even though I don't particularly like her, my daughter tells me she loves both of her teachers every day.

I think this school is amazing and by far the best in Santa clarita. I have this opinion after touring about 6-7 other schools. Give it a try before any others. It's really a great place for your child.

We LOVE Montessori of Valencia! Researched many other preschools and couldn't be happier with our choice. The teachers are loving, the facility is beautiful, and the montessori education has terrific for our two year old. Highly recommend this preschool.

I have been so pleased with Montessori of Valencia. My 2.5 year old son started in August at 25 months old. We were relieved to find a safe, clean, new location with a very involved director and caring teachers. Other locations in Santa Clarita, had us drive away - we did not even get out of the car to look.



We have not been disappointed. He started in the class for 2 y.os that has the most caring, loving teacher. He was advanced up a class a month later. His teacher, who has been the same from the beginning, is so caring and informed. My guy goes for a hug from her every morning and sometimes does not want to leave when we get him at noon. The teacher gave me some good advice at the parent teacher conference. He brings home the cutest crafts and is starting to learn his alphabet and numbers. The biggest part is, as an only child, he is socializing more and learning to develop friendships - which was a core reason we chose to send him to a school environment. We had such fun at the Halloween event and the Holiday show.



My little guy is happy, is learning, growing and M of V is an important part of making him a secure, humble, inquisitive, funny guy.

My children have been going to this school for almost a year and the school just had their 1 year anniversary. I had to laugh when I read the 'negative' reviews. Everyone at this school is wonderful!!!! We have had only positive experiences. In the beginning they did move teachers and classrooms around but only because the class sizes grew so quickly. It didn't effect my children, they actually thought it was exciting to have a new classroom. My daughter is in the Pre-K class (she started out having the mentioned teacher above) Yes she is from another country and she is very straight forward with the kids but not mean at all. She doesn't let the children 'walk all over her' She loves those children and they learn so much from her and respect her. She's wonderful and knows how to teach. My daughter moved to a new teacher in September (when the new school year started) She's very different from her previous teacher. Speaks quietly and the children listen to her and respect her as well. My daughter has a hard time listening and Ms T has been very patient with her. Children adapt to their surroundings and change is good. She has learned so much in the year that she has attended this school.



My son started out in the early walkers group with the infants. He was 20 months old at the time. His teacher in that class was wonderful and also very loving. When he turned 2 he moved up to Ms D's class. Again wonderful!!! My son talks about her all the time and gets so excited about going to school. He has learned so much about colors, numbers and letters.



This is a true Montessori program and as I call it, 'not a fluff preschool'. They are here to teach these children invaluable life lessons. I highly recommend people read up on the Montessori Method and about Maria Montessori. Everything at this school has a purpose.



The school director does a wonderful job with keeping the school running smoothly and putting together all the school activates. She spends time in every class each day and knows all the children by name. She works very hard to make sure the children have a clean, organized and safe place to go everyday. They have dance class, music class, Spanish each on different days of the week. There's also a special program when it's your Childs birthday. The children learn something about every holiday (Christmas, Hanukkah , Kwanza, Chinese New Year) Just to name a few.



I also love the diversity of the school. There are children and families from all over the world that attend this school (Asia, India & Europe) How wonderful for them to learn about other ethnicities, countries, traditions and foods especially in the world today.



The summer program here is also amazing, everyday is a new adventure from the bubble man, pirate day or just playing outside in the water. Everything has a purpose.



I can't say enough wonderful things about this school. Have a look for yourself and please don't go buy what 2 unhappy people have written. There are 100+ families at this school that wouldn't even think about sending their kids anywhere else and the children love going here.

This is a great School in this area. My child has been to other schools in the same area and I love this school and the program it offers. My child loves going to school every day. I love the Pre-K/K room it has a high academic program. We love the teacher in the Pre-K/Kinder room; it shows she has lots of experience in this age group. She has a great personality and she is sweet loving and caring to the children. She has an extreme knowledge and a great talent and has been very creative with the children. When my child started this school he didn’t know his sounds or numbers. In the short time he has been there now he is reading everything, and can do addition to any sums you name it. My child has learned so much confidence in the few months he has been in this school it’s incredible. Thanks to his great teacher. I love if this school can offer a higher grade. I would commend this school with high regards with no fear to everyone.

I have been taking my children to Montessori of Valencia since it opened in November 2010. I could not have found a better choice for my two boys. As a parent, it is important to know that your children are cared for, loved, and nurtured in your absence. Montessori of Valencia has the most incredible teachers and they truly care for your children. They are so dedicated to the individual needs of every child. Both of my boys have grown socially and academically since beginning school at Montessori of Valencia. I am so grateful each day when I pick up my boys to see that they have had a wonderful day, full of activities, fun, and academics. I recommend this school to every parent and encourage you to tour the school and see what a difference these teachers make in the lives of the children who attend!

I have been at this school since it opened, and I am very happy. I have NEVER heard or seen any teacher being anything other than caring to the children. My child had a very hard time in the beginning, crying everyday at drop off. The teachers were always there to comfort her and eventually she couldn't wait to get to school. My child has grown so much both socially and academically. My other children have gone to several other schools in the area and I would recommend this school to anyone.

I had a very bad experience with this place. My child was in that school for more than five months and it was really bad. My child hated and I wish I trusted when my child told me that my teachers yell at me and they yell at other kids. I thought my child was making excuses so he/she wont have to school. But later on I learned that my child was right. The teachers are very rude and mean to the kids. THe director and the owner will bluntly lie to your face and make you believe their stupid promises about the child education and child care. It is all BS. Please send your child anywhere but do not send your child to this school. I have seen the teachers yelling at other kids in front of me and I wish I knew their parents so I could save those kids. My child is a 3 year old and if you are in that class group please take your child out of there. THey deserve better school. There are much bettter schools in Valencia than this living hell for our kids. Check their reviews for their other branch in Calabasas.
