The so-called installer bought a Goodman Heat pump from this company. The installer alleges that Air Depot picked the unit for him after he relayed my request for a high efficiency unit. Air Depot denies that scenario and places the blame on the installer. Yet, Air Depot will not accept responsibility even though the unit was provided by them. I now have a Goodman heat pump that is NOT efficient, its an ENERGY HOG plus the noise it produces is totally outrageous. As a distributor of Goodman they should accept responsibility and at least TRY to work out a compromise. This unit I bought is only 7 months old and the unit it replaced (*a 12 year old unit) used about $100 LESS per month in electricity.
