My sister recently purchased a Ford Taurus from a group of criminals at D&D auto sales..

Within days the damn thing constantly needed repair and D&D's only response was that she had bought it *as is*...

However, she took the car to A&M and their staff immediately corrected all the problems..

Thanks to A&M and their entire staff and &*%# D&D auto sales...

I used A & M Auto Service for ...

I used A & M Auto Service for years...to be accurate, since 2001. At that time Alex, the owner, was the all purpose guy. He was the only "employee" he had and he serviced all vehicles and I was VERY satisfied. Fast forward 11 years later, his business is booming, and I'm extremely happy and excited to see it grow the way that it has. He's been able to hire actual employees, increasing the number of cars he can service at a faster rate. Unfortunately, with the growth came a lack of customer service and customer satisfaction. Alex is still one of the nicest guys I've encountered, however, when you have employees, you need to ensure that they're doing their job to the best of their ability because at the end of the day, as the owner, YOUR name/reputation is on the building. As stated, I've been using A & M for years. They're the ONLY company that has done anything to my car. Well, toward the end of 2011, I was on a trip and my transmission clunked out on me. I feel that A & M is partially to blame because apparently my motor mounts (all 3) were broken and NONE of the A & M employees, or Alex, told me that was the case. As a woman in my late 20s, that is why I pay a licensed mechanic...to ensure that the work is done properly and that if there are any issues that could turn into a large, more expensive problem, I am told of them. Now, if I'm told and the choose not to fix the problem, that's totally my fault. However, any issues Alex and his crew have ever told me about I've had fixed within a 30 days. Once my transmission died and I was told what caused it and what it feels like when your motor mounts are broken, I was LIVID! I had addressed what seemed to be my engine/transmission clanking around when I hit the gas with one of Alex's employees and it was dismissed as it "being an older car." All in all, the transmission issue cost me $1500 at a time when $1500 wasn't so easy to come by. Additionally, prior to the transmission dying on me, I'd called A & M to discuss an issue that I had had fixed with them (oil valve covers) only a few months earlier, and it was now leaking again. His daughter Clara, was very dismissive. I called back a few days later and his other daughter answered the phone because Clara wasn't there. I heard Alex in the background say "Is that (insert my name here)?" Apparently his daughter shook her head "yes" because there was no audible reply from her. He then same "Tell her Clara will call her back" with a very nasty attitude. I have VOWED never to use them again. Yes, they have some of the best prices around, but it's clear to me that he does NOT value his long time customers that were with him before he could afford to hire anyone to work for him. Like I said, i think he's a nice, friendly guy, but I'll go elsewhere and pay a little more rather then deal with there caviler attitudes.

Alex and his crew are absolute...

Alex and his crew are absolutely amazing. I went in telling them about noise and wobbeling on the front wheels. He listened without interrupting me, then told me what it could be and what he needed to do to check out the cause.They found and fixed what was causing the noise, however that did not fix the wobble. So he sent a mechanic on the road with me to test drive. After some more investigation they found one of the rims was bent. He told me where to find a used rim. When they put the car on the lift to put the wheel back on the mechanic discovered and showed me that my two rear tires were seperating. By being observent he probably saved me from having a blowout.

Not once did they make me feel inferior or stupid for asking all kinds of questions. All my questions were answered, and they were very curtious. BEST CUSTUMER SERVICE I EVER HAD from a car/tire repair place. This is the only place I will take my vehicle to from now on. Alex, You have a super team! And your prices are very, very reasonable!

This is the one and only place I will ever take any vehicle I ever own to.. They do all your major repairs, and they have the best prices anywhere. Alex is the best mechanic In all of Valdosta.
