Solano Coin Gold and Silver

People have concerns and questions... In my search for gold buyers, nine out of ten begin the relationship with a rude answering of the phone. And with no regard how far one might drive, demand that the customer and lets underscore the word Customer, bring what it is they have to either pawn or sell. Whats worse, many items they don't accept or deal with which could be disclosed before the customer makes a long drive... Possibly with the last buck they have for gas.
It was extremely refreshing when I called and got David which took the time to go over what they take and how much they pay. In addition, to make calculations easier for the customer, he boiled it down to X dollars per gram, so you know before traveling what your going to get for say a 14K gold ring that weighs 15 grams. And once your at the store, the guys running the shop all know how important your business is to their success. Many Thanks!

Five Star Company

I was looking for a place to sell some gold and old coins. I found Solano Coin online at YP.com and called. I talked with a very nice guy who was very knowledgable about coins and gold. The store is bright and professional and the people are terrific. I agree with the previous reviewer who said he would send his grandmother there. The few places I looked at before I found Solano Coin made me feel uncomfortable so this was a pleasant surprise. Terrific service and they explain how they test for the content of gold, very interesting. I got an honest and fair price and they have lots of nice jewelry for sale. I will probably end up going back to buy some. Nice to find a trustworthy place where the people are super friendly. I would recommend this store to anyone looking to buy or sell gold or coins.

Wow, how nice to have another coin store in Vacaville! These guys have a huge amount of graded and raw Morgan silver dollars and a decent selection of semi-rare American coins. A decent number of Peace dollars as well.



They seem to deal mainly in bullion coins - gold and silver American stuff. Tons of silver eagles (at least when I was there) and a good selection of American and foreign gold coins. They had a beautiful 50 Peso gold piece, and a St. Gaudens to die for!



My wife headed straight for the jewelry case. She dropped a hundred bucks on a very nce gold ring that she swears was priced at $250 in the Outlets. It was nice, but I don't know anything about jewelry!



I also noticed that they had a lot of "junk silver" - 90% silver pre-1964 halves, quarters and dimes. Excellent prices, especially considering how the price of silver has gone through the roof.

One of my girlfriends told me about this place near Lucky's to sell gold jewelry. I brought in a couple of pieces of old jewelry and a couple of broken chains and ear rings. I got $375! Unreal.



I took some of the money and picked up a cute gold ring they had in their jewelry case. It was about 1/3 the price at the Outlets. One of the guys told me they sell their jewelry at just a little over the price of the gold.



They had some silver stuff too. Real cute necklaces for next to nothing.

Went to solano coin to sell some old jewelry after seeing there ad stating that they have high payouts. I had priced the jewelry at another local shop so i knew about what it was worth. When i walked into solano coin i was plesently surprised on how professional the location was everyone working there stoped what they were doing to say hi and make me feel welcome a far cry from some others I have been to. Mike helped me with my sale he explained what he was doing step by step. The best part is I was quoted $524 by the other shop Mike gave me $736 for the same jewelry. I can't say enough about solano coin give them a try you will not be sorry

Did I say honest? I would send my grandmother to this place... I was given a great education on how to sell and purchase gold. No pressure and I left with $1248 in my pocket!
