3 phrases to describe the OWNER and THE COMPANY: unethical, poor customer service and worst managerial company. I am a respectable person who rented from this company for 1 year. I paid rent and utilities on time, and never once had a complaint from another unit in the building. Upon the termination of my lease I received a sheet with obsurb charges in which more than half my deposit was withheld from me. The apartment was left in prestine condition, and my husband documented this upon exiting in a video. I am now forced to take legal action against the company. The cake topper, the owner told me to 'shut up' on the phone while disputing the changers. If you are considering renting, buying or working with this company and expect to receive small town hospitality... Think again! I would never recommend this company and hope if you read this review and something similar happened to you to please seek legal action as well.

Trash service is awful

I use MCI's trash services. Well, I used to. I just paid our last bill & cancelled today. It is the cheapest price I found ($48 for 3 months) but the service is poor. They also don't collect recycling, which is OK if you live in Urbana, but other towns they service do not have free recycling pickup. Several times, the weekly trash pickup would not come. I would call & tell the office manager (Phylis) that our trash didn't get picked up, & she would just say 'oh they will be sure to come next week'. Well OK, but I am supposed to have weekly trash pickup & meanwhile have alot of trash taking up space and smelling in my garage. Even though they wouldn't come at least once a month & I would always call about it, they still charged me for weekly pickup. This last billing cycle, I received an "OVERDUE" notice, saying they were going to cancel my service permanenly & send my balance to collections. I had paid that bill & checked my online banking account. MCI had cashed my check BEFORE the bill was even due! I called Phylis & she acted like I didn't pay. When I told her I saw the cashed check myself on my bank's website, she got flustered & made an excuse to hang up. Their service is terrible & they just want money.
