These people are some of the rudest staff I have ever dealt with in my entire life.

I call one day to ask for assistance about my bike and the lady was very rude on the phone...she talked to me like I was stupid and stated in a very rude tone "we cant do anything unless yo have your motorcycle here and we don't do keys, so what do you want to do?" I get to your shop and ask one of your sales people for advice about my bike not being able to start because I cant turn the key. I asked the salesperson (an elder gentleman) "what if i wanted to get a new key" and he says to me "a whole lot of money". He says "wait a second" and walks off...10mins later he never returns with any kind of advice and continues to talk to the two ladies in the back. So i end up going to the guy working the counter..he tells me "there's really nothing we can do, other than have your bike brought here" I ask him, "ok, so can you guys haul it" this man tells me "yes, but we never know when our haulers show up" are you freaking kidding me???How do you not keep track of your employees?? I was planning on purchasing a new bike from you, but your customer service is very lacking and needs some strong imrovement.

Bad service, with a bad attitu...

Bad service, with a bad attitude. This is a family business, but no one in the family has any desire to promote customer loyalty. I bought a 3 year extended warranty with a new bike in 2010, from the owner's daughter. A couple of weeks later, I received a letter from Kawasaki advising me to pick up the extended warranty certificate from my dealer. I asked the owner's son in law for it, but he was clueless. He asked the owner, but the owner turned his back, walked away, and said: deal with it. I never got the certificate. A few weeks later, I took the bike back for the first scheduled maintenance. The owner was rude. I pointed out some rust spots, on my new bike, to the son in law. He said it wasn't really rust. it was just discolored because it had been stored outside in a crate that was rusting and dripping on the bike. I used WD40 frequently to limit further rusting. After 18 months, I decided to sell the bike, and try to get a refund on the extended warranty, which wasn't due to take effect for 6 more months. The owner tried to tell me the extended warranty could only be cancelled within the first year. When I showed him a document from Kawasaki which proved him wrong, he told me to come back next Tuesday. When I returned Tuesday, he ignored me and refused to even acknowledge my presence, even though we were the only two people in the store. Since I didn't have the certificate, I couldn't even transfer the warranty. I wanted to sell my bike and buy a Kawasaki Voyager. Instead, I went elsewhere and bought a Harley Electra Glide.

New from the BOX

I bought a 1994 Voyager 12 , New just assembled 94 in 99 well it was new and was inspected no break lights, forgot all about checking the little box so if injured or layed up payments was insured , and was told that was my problem, they paied a local to inspect and actually put the MVI sticker on the new bike, I had to have a hip replaced and due to the salesman slick work I lost the bike and all MY accessories intercom chrome everything... The Sales people @ Kawasaki of Universial City are sales only after you drive a hundred miles it gets dark and no brake lights and You have a choice go home or stay a few days while they act like you should know how to fix a defective light switch,,, I got it replaced by Golden Honda on Odessa. I would not recommend shopping or buying from Kawasaki Of Universal City. As to why it took so long I just now had the time to offer any imput of my being taken...
