Putnam County Animal Hospital

The most unprofessional establishment I have ever went to!!!! Took my beloved cat of 15 years in to be seen for a skin condition and her excessive drinking of water and urinating. Was told "older cats" just drink a lot of water, didn't have me fill out a new patient history form, did not give a through exam, did not weigh her, check her temp, take urine or blood sample, or even check her heart. All in all barely touched her. Was prescribed pills, shampoo for skin condition and hair loss, and ear mite medicine. None of my other concerns were even addressed or questions answered and I was rushed out the door. Also was given no emergency contact number for this vet. After following this treatment plan which I believe was too harsh on her without all of her other issues addressed and checked out...... she died a few days later...When finally getting ahold of him to report her death and try to discuss what may have caused this, he was rude, had no concern or sympathy on the matter and hung up on me....
