worse place ever. Check for mold before you decide to move in . My place was covered in it. Clothes, shoes, walls, furniture. I had to toss everything away and they did not care at all. It was so bad I had to move out and they refused to give me my rent back and I didn't even live in my place because my head was hurting, I was itching, it was hard to breath. There just giving me my deposit back in 30 days. Horrible management, staff, weight room.

Overall
Moving into this complex was a...

Moving into this complex was a bad decision all the way around.

Security: There is 20% chance that the security gates are functioning properly on any given day, which allows anyone who wishes to enter to do so at their own will. There is no security presence on the premises and a large amount of outside traffic exists throughout the complex. With no security presence, people trail residents and visitors with approved access into the complex. Not cool.

Premises: The walkways on each level of the apartment buildings are absolutely disgusting and filthy and need pressure washing like 3 years ago.. You can also guarantee to find lots of trash scattered around your apartment building and surrounding the complex. I had to call the Leasing office several times to request that the Groundskeeper come by to clean up the trash. You can be sure to find anything from potato bags to empty soda cans to blunt paper in visible sight where residents have decided to toss their trash on the ground instead of in a trash can. Speaking of trash cans, there are no trash cans on or around the complex for outside trash. This encourages residents and their friends to throw their trash on the ground. The pools are nothing more than mediocre and the complex only allows 3 people per unit (1 resident and 2 guests) at the pool at a time. How ridiculous! I assume this is because the complex is so large. The pool that sits behind the leasing office is surrounding by trees, which means leaves and other items from the trees (sticks, bugs, etc.) are always in the pool. Pool maintenance is yeah...non-existent. The trash disposal is often running over several times a week due to the large amount of residents in the complex and the not-so-frequent pick ups from Sanitation. The workout room is downright depressing, with only 5 machines total (yes, in this very large complex). The elliptical is currently out of order and has been for some time but management refuses to fix it or replace. They've also managed to not put an "Out of Order" sign on the machine so residents have to find out it's not working through trial and error. The workout room also has a mildew, moldy smell that would definitely deter you away from ever working out in there.

Residents: If you enjoy being amongst lots of kids, then you will enjoy living here. You are guaranteed to have lots of them in your building. Along with this, they refuse to move to the side or out of your way, when you are trying to walk up or down stairs to get to and from your apartment unit and building. The kids and adults are equally rude and they wander up and down the streets of the complex at all times of day and night, particularly during the summer months. At some point, you can be sure to hear gun shots, random arguments and/or fights, a possible car break in (my brother's car was vandalized), and doors slamming throughout the various units of the building that seems to always shake my apartment, even being on the top floor of the building. How does that happen?

Apartment Units: The one pro about the apartment complex is the size of the units for the price. The units are very spacious. If you are looking for anything modern or updated, you shouldn't waste your time looking here. But if square footage for a discounted price is your goal, this is a good fit. Durable but not Quality. The appliances are very old and the structure inside and out is as well. The bathtubs are old as well as the tile on both the kitchen and bathroom floors. The windows appear to not have been pressure washed in years, leaving a large amount of build-up on them and makes your window view a bit of a challenge.

I encourage anyone looking to rent here to thoroughly consider what's important to you when finding a great place to move to.

I personally would not recommend renting here and I am anxiously waiting for my first and only year lease here to end to move.

Happy Apartment Hunting Everyone!

Overall
Don't move here

Moved in 6/06.Everything advertised was working fine. The next mth (July), the fitness center machines stopped working, the access gate got damaged and they wont fix it again-so now there are break-ins, people coming in from other apts that are not residents...and the place has just gone downhill. And even though there are weights in the fitness room still, mgt. has taken our keys away so we can only use that facility during business hours.

Now its 4/08. Nothing has been repaired. They have on-site security guards, but they don't check at the gate to make sure residents or approved visitors are the only ones coming in, so what good is that? They dont give residents a sense of protection.

Yet, they still advertise the amenities as if they are really available.

Forget about timely work order repairs. Whether it's a broken pipe, faulty wiring, spot lights burned out, ants, etc...it takes them weeks and even months to do anything, no matter how much you call. Sure, they are very nice when you speak to them (mgt and leasing agents), but they smile at you while they lie. As far as getting referral fees from referring new residents-forget about it! That's not going to happen. They advertise a $10,000 giveaway-but that's been going on since I moved here and as far as I know, nobody has ever won.

Don't move here. The rent is market rates, and not even worth it because you're not getting market quality.
