His goal is for Texas Financial & Retirement to serve as the financial and retirement advisory practice and consumer advocate for Texas retirees and pre-retirees. James has held his insurance license since 1988 and in 2006 he passed the Series 65 securities exam to become an Investment Adviser Representative. James holds a bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in Huntsville and a master’s degree from Our Lady of the Lake
