I gave a friend my old iMac, built in 2008. I had forgotten the Admin codes, but they said that they could upgrade the OS. They said that was an easy fix, no problem. We gave them $75.76, they would only take cash or credit cards....no check. They issued a debit card to pass on to my friend. Before we left, she arrived with the computer, and it seemed like they were going to fix the problem, so we left. Shortly, I got a text that they were refusing to do the job, as they said that the computer was too old, however, they would be glad to recycle it. However, others said that the computer can be partitioned and have the new OS installed, and it will work fine. I took the debit card back today and was told that they do not refund money cards by the one who rang up the purchase to begin with and did not tell me that, when I bought the service. They eventually refunded my money, but I had to threaten to file fraud charges.
