Cutting down a dead 200 year old cedar tree, 21 feet in circumference(at the bottom) that you built your deck around and is located five feet from the rear of your house is never a pleasant or inexpensive experience. Jerry Cover,his son and two nephews did an excellent job removing the tree without having to remove any decking or railing. Of the two other companies we contacted one wanted considerably more than Cover and the other company would not even give us a bid and insisted the decking and railing would have to be removed before any work was done. They guys are very friendly and professional. I would not hesitate to call them again.
