Dental Examination

X-rays
Before your cleaning is complete, one of our dentists will carefully examine your teeth and gums to make sure that they are healthy. We will also check for any signs of periodontal disease, oral cancer, and tooth misalignment issues. If you haven’t had dental X-rays taken in a while, we may recommend that you have them done.

Teeth Cleaning
Most dental insurances will cover up to 2 annual teeth cleanings per year. For patients without dental insurance, we offer convenient and affordable dental membership plans.
Fluoride Treatment
Space Maintainers
If a baby tooth is lost prematurely, a space maintainer is used to keep the space open until the permanent tooth erupts. A band is attached to the tooth next to the empty space, and a wire is extended to the tooth on the other side of the space.

Please contact our office to schedule an exam and X-rays, which our dentists will use to determine if the wisdom teeth are growing in properly through your gums or need to be extracted. We can also assess if a permanent tooth needs extracted due to decay, infection or mouth crowding.
Bone Grafting
Other times, surgical procedures, such as root amputation can be a viable option for removing an infected or damaged tooth root. In some cases of severe periodontal disease, bone grafting, along with other treatments, may save a tooth that is infected and loose.
